November 9, 2007 - The Ramsey County sheriff says a man who died at the county jail did not receive proper medical attention.
November 9, 2007 - Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher says an inmate who died at the Ramsey County Jail received inadequate medical attention. Forty-six-year-old Randy Gallmeyer died of untreated diabetes last month after he was found passed out in his cell. Fletcher says an internal investigation shows that man was not offered testing of his blood sugar levels during a time when testing should have been offered twice.
November 9, 2007 - Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher says a man who died in the county jail last month received inadequate medical attention. The sheriff says he believes the man's death could have been prevented and he announced a new investigation.

November 26, 2007 - Today, the Minneapolis City Council approved a 4.5 million dollar settlement of a lawsuit involving a police officer who was seriously wounded by a fellow cop. In 2003, officer Duy Ngo was working undercover when he was shot multiple times by officer Charles Storlie. City officials say the shooting has drastically changed the lives of both men and hope the settlement will bring closure to the incident.
November 26, 2007 - The city of Minneapolis has agreed to pay 4.5 million dollars to police officer Duy Ngo. In 2003, Ngo was shot and seriously wounded by another police officer while Ngo was working undercover. Ngo sued the officer. The Minneapolis city council today voted to approve the settlement. Council president Barb Johnson says the incident highlights the danger that police officers are regularly exposed to.

In 2003, officer Duy Ngo was shot several times by fellow officer Charles Storlie while Ngo was working undercover. Ngo's attorney Bob Bennett says he and his client are pleased with the settlement. But he says Ngo will likely never serve as a patrol officer again.
November 30, 2007 - A group of African American community leaders say that disciplinary action against a black homicide detective is the result of a pattern of bias against black police officers. Minneapolis police Sgt. Charlie Adams was transfered after he contradicted statements made by his commanding officer. Police officials deny that race played a role in the decision.
