Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher says an inmate who died at the Ramsey County Jail received inadequate medical attention. Forty-six-year-old Randy Gallmeyer died of untreated diabetes last month after he was found passed out in his cell. Fletcher says an internal investigation shows that man was not offered testing of his blood sugar levels during a time when testing should have been offered twice.
