The city of Minneapolis has agreed to pay 4.5 million dollars to police officer Duy Ngo. In 2003, Ngo was shot and seriously wounded by another police officer while Ngo was working undercover. Ngo sued the officer. The Minneapolis city council today voted to approve the settlement. Council president Barb Johnson says the incident highlights the danger that police officers are regularly exposed to.
