October 15, 2002 - Financial reports filed today with Federal Elections Commission show the Senate campaigns of DFL-er Paul Wellstone and Republican Norm Coleman had raised nearly $18 million through the end of September. Even without October and early November contributions this year's Senate race has surpassed fundraising in the 2000 race between Rod Grams and Mark Dayton.
