McFarlin says the Gooseberry bridge has a structure that is similar, but not identical, to the 35-W bridge. He says the U.S. Transportation Department has ordered the state to inspect bridges of the type that collapsed in Minneapolis. McFarlin says the Gooseberry bridge was built in the 1990's.
