Inspectors will begin examining another Minnesota bridge Sunday in the wake of the 35-W collapse. Bob McFarlin of the state Transportation Department says the Highway Sixty-One bridge over the Gooseberry River near the Lake Superior shore will be the fifth bridge inspected following Wednesday's disaster. McFarlin says the Gooseberry bridge has a structure that is similar, but not identical, to the 35-W bridge. He says the U.S. Transportation Department has ordered the state to inspect bridges of the type that collapsed in Minneapolis. McFarlin says the Gooseberry bridge was built in the 1990's.
