September 22, 1994 - Midday presents a Mainstreet Radio special broadcast about Lake Superior and activity around it. Program consists of multiple interview site locations (Duluth, Grand Marais, and Thunder Bay). Topics include health of lake and development along the North Shore.
October 31, 1994 - MPR’s Mark Zdechlik visits the newly re-opened Stone Arch Bridge in downtown Minneapolis. After decades of use by the railroad, the bridge has been renovated into a bicycle and pedestrian pathway. The hope is to create a safe walking/biking corridor option for those crossing Mississippi River. For the new arrivals on the historical stone architectural landmark, the views are worth the trip alone.
January 10, 1995 - Larry Pogemiller, Minneapolis DFL state senator and chair of the State Senate's Education Committee; and Arlene Bush, the president of the Minnesota School Boards Association and a member of the Bloomington School Board, discuss public school funding issues. Topics include failed referendums and school cuts to staff and programs. Pogemiller and Bush also answer listener questions.
January 25, 1995 - Broadcast of a town meeting titled “Duluth 2001 and Beyond”. Architect Steve McNeill and psychologist Jean Olson, both members of the Visioning 2001 Scenario Builders Committee, present a visioning process for the future of Duluth. They summarize numerous priorities in planning for future of the community. After presentation, audience members express their questions and comments.

February 16, 1995 - Nadine Strossen, president of American Civil Liberties Union, discusses her book "Defending Pornography: Free Speech, Sex, and the Fight for Women's Rights" and the subject of pornography in relation to law and community. Strossen also answers listener questions.
March 20, 1995 - Mainstreet Radio’s reports on concerns of some Ely parents on students leaving during school day to attend church programs. While voluntary, these residents feel that education and church activities should not be connected. Those concerns don’t sit well with some in the community, who see religious release time as completely acceptable.
March 22, 1995 - MPR’s Mary Stucky reports on Minneapolis Mayor Sharon Sayles Belton’s views on neighborhood schools. Some in community see it as a return to segregation, others as a community focus to strengthening schools.
March 28, 1995 - Judith Martin talks with Midday’s Gary Eichten about a poll showing happiness in the suburbs of the Twin Cities. Martin describes innate differences between dense Twin Cities and sprawling suburban experience.
May 25, 1995 - Midday presents Andrew Young, Atlanta mayor and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, speaking to the Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce at its annual meeting. Young’s address was titled, "Stopping the Decline in American Cities: A Quality of Life Message for Minnesota." Following speech, Young answered audience questions.
