Klobuchar was a sportswriter and columnist for Minneapolis Star and Minneapolis Tribune for 30 years and a former AP reporter. He now writes columns for MinnPost. Mason was a Minnesota Vikings running back, selected first in Vikings draft for inaugural season. His first game was September 17, 1961. Mason played six seasons for the Vikings and retired from the NFL in 1971.
