Bill Catlin reports on Minnesota Public Radio’s announcement of its third service in the Twin Cities, Monday, January 24th, 2005.
89.3 The Current and its programming will feature a broad range of popular music in an effort to attract a younger audience to MPR. The Current will be broadcast on the frequency of the former WCAL, which MPR bought from St. Olaf College in November 2004, along with a sister station in Rochester.
