September 7, 2007 - Midday presents an American RadioWorks documentary, produced in association with North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC, titled “Put to the Test.” The documentary follows students, teachers, and administrators from Western Guilford High School as they navigate the requirements of No Child Left Behind.
August 16, 2007 - As part of the series “Songs from Scratch,” MPR reporters Sanden Totten, Larissa Anderson, and Chris Roberts invite musicians to come in and record the songs they've written based off poet Stephen Burt’s lyrics.

July 19, 2007 - MPR’s Roseanne Pereria reports that while farming runs deep in the Hmong culture, many Hmong farmers are isolated both by culture and language from the rest of U.S. agriculture. They often have difficulty getting resources and finding information. Pereria interviews one local grower who work towards changing that.
June 19, 2007 - MPR's Toni Randolph reports on a Hmong rally at the state Capitol to show their support for General Vang Pao. Vang is charged with masterminding a violent overthrow of the Laotian government.
June 5, 2007 - MPR’s Toni Randolph reports on viewpoints in Hmong community about General Vang Pao and the support for him after his U.S. arrest. While he has been in the United States for about 30 years, and no longer a military leader, he's still an important figure in Hmong history in America.
June 4, 2007 - MPR's Laura McCallum profiles Bill Chorske, a retired Medtronic executive who has awarded scholarships to low-income students from Edison High School in northeast Minneapolis. Chorske graduated from Edison in 1954.
June 1, 2007 - MPR’s Chris Roberts reports on "The Mad Ripple Friday Night Hootenanny" at Java Jack's. The event is thrown together by writer and singer/songwriter Jim Walsh, who's stage name is the Mad Ripple. Each week Walsh presents a handful of musicians, usually local, some of them rookies and some established. The artists take turns trading stories and songs, mostly originals.
May 7, 2007 - MPR’s Laura McCallum profiles the work coming out of the Black Box Theatre at St. Paul’s Central High School. Members of the Central Touring Theatre (CTT) are performing a play written earlier in the year, titled "I'll Take You There." The play addresses a number of controversial topics.
