July 25, 2001 - The Minnesota Vikings have signed star wide receiver Randy Moss to an 8-year contract. Moss's agent says the deal is worth 75-million dollars, with a 18 (m)million dollar signing bonus... making the 24-year-old Moss one of the highest-paid players in the NFL. June 20, 2001 - Author Sue Grafton has promised to write a mystery for every letter of the alphabet. She started her series with "A is for Alibi" and has just published her 16th- "P is for Peril." The latest book pits heroine Kinsey Milhone against a bitter ex wife, troubled children, a shady business partner, and a suspicion of Medicare fraud . May 16, 2001 - With five days left in the legislative session, House and Senate leaders are trying to reach agreement on major tax and spending issues. Senate DFL leaders tried to break the logjam over budget targets with an offer this afternoon. House Republicans rejected the proposal and made an offer of their own. Minnesota Public Radio's Laura McCallum joins us from the Capitol with an update.
