But they say there would be fewer flights and airfares would probably increase. January 5, 2000 - A federal judge in St Paul this morning (8:15AM CST) will consider issuing a temporary restraining order barring Northwest Airlines flight attendants from illegal job actions. Northwest filed a lawsuit against the Teamsters union yesterday alleging its flight attendants are engaged in an illegal sick out that's driving away customers. December 23, 1999 - Northwest Airlines says today will be its busiest travel day of the holiday season with about two hundred thousand people boarding its planes throughout the world. Tens of thousands of people will pass through Northwest's Minneapolis -St. Paul hub ... all of them hoping for safe ON-TIME flights. But some flight attendants have been talking about interfering with the flight schedule this Christmas to protest stalled contract talks.
