"Denial" is a play written by former Minneapolis resident and Jerome Fellowship winner Peter Sagal to explore his own Jewish identity and the limitations of the first amendment. "A very old man with enormous wings" tells the tale of a broken, elderly man with wings who mysteriously appears in a coastal village and causes an uproar. While the story sounds more like an ancient legend, the production's creators believe it resonates in modern times.

With Minnesota Public Radio's Chris Roberts at his side, the Trinidad native shared some of his secrets for providing top-notch service....even in the dead of winter.....at the twin cities' only four-star hotel.
January 10, 1997 - With the resurgence of the Hennepin Avenue theater district in Minneapolis and the strength of the Ordway theater in St. Paul, broadway-style entertainment in the twin cities would appear to be healthier than ever. But some wonder whether the local appetite for broadway is big enough to support the three major broadway venues in town. While there's agreement on both sides of the river that the local music theater industry needs a metro strategy, officials haven't been able to work out the details. December 30, 1996 - If you're a legal alien in this country and you commit a crime, chances are greater than ever before you'll be deported. Tough new immigration laws passed by congress this year have expanded the category of crimes for which resident aliens can be deported, and have severely limited a judge's ability to grant any relief. The impact of the new laws is already being felt in Minnesota, and legal advocates are concerned the changes may do more harm than good in the long run.
