Any visitor to the St. Paul Hotel in Minnesota's capital has probably become acquainted with its head doorman, Carlisle Pierre. With his soothing baritone voice and always cheerful demeanor, "Carlisle" has been a permanent fixture at the hotel for the last seven years.
