Rong’s address was on the topic "China's Changing Economy: New Opportunities for American Business." China International Trust and Investment was established by Deng Xiaoping in 1979 to bring foreign capital and advanced technology from the West to China. Minnesota Meeting is a non-profit corporation which hosts a wide range of public speakers. It is managed by the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
