August 14, 1995 - A drama-documentary by writer Norman Corwin about the anniversary of the end of World War II, called 50 Years Later: 14 August, featuring voices of Charles Kuralt and Pat Carroll. Following documentary, a special "Talk of Minnesota" program, with recorded recollections and listener memories of V-J Day, 50 years ago.
August 16, 1995 - MPR’s Paul Schroeder interviews authors Rip Rapson and Kevin Proescholdt about their book “Troubled Waters: The Fight for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.” Rapson and Proescholdt, both environmentalists, detail the historical controversies of logging, mining, and recreation of the Boundary Waters.
August 18, 1995 - Arne Carlson, Minnesota governor, speaking to school administrators at Radisson hotel in Bloomington. Carlson addressed was about ways to improve Minnesota's education system. The Governor said school buildings should be open for a longer day and spoke about vouchers, performance-based pay, changes in teacher tenure and collective bargaining. Following speech, MPR’s Mike Mulcahy interviews Larry Pogemiller, Minnesota state senator and chair of the Senate Education Committee; and Alice Johnson, DFLMinnesota state representative and chair of the House Education Committee, give a DFL response to his speech. Mulcahy also takes listener comments.

September 4, 1995 - A Midday interview with Barb Frey, executive director of Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights, while she is in Beijing for the UN Women's Conference.
September 13, 1995 - Lynn Blewett, director of Health & Economics at Minnesota Health department, explains provision in Medicare plan being formulated in Congress that would create tax exempt saving accounts, partially funded by government.
September 19, 1995 - U.S. Senator Rod Grams discusses family tax/social security tax credit plan being debated in the U.S. Senate Chamber.
September 20, 1995 - Matthew Little, former president of the Minneapolis chapter of the NAACP; Curt Johnson, chair of the Metropolitan Council and Minneapolis State; and Larry Pogemiller, Minnesota state senator, discuss the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's lawsuit against the state of Minnesota involving school desegregation.
