World Health Organization officials believe the disease started in China... and so far about 11-hundred cases are known worldwide. Joining us on the line is Kevin Mitchell... chair of the Business Travel Coalition which conducted a survey of more than 180 organizations on how they're changing their corporate travel policies.

April 4, 2003 - The Minnesota Twins begin their home season against the Toronto Blue Jays and team officials say they expect a sold-out crowd at the Metrodome. Some Twins boosters had hoped to be laying the groundwork to replace the Dome by this time, but a ballpark bill passed in last session failed to produce a workable solution. So far in 2003, lawmakers have remained relatively mute on stadium legislation.
April 4, 2003 - There are more than 200 community theatres in Minnesota. The amateur companies are a place where people can express themselves artistically. For many small towns it's the only local live theatre available. But with a sour economy and budget cuts looming, community theatres are braced for cutbacks. Mainstreet Radios Bob Reha reports. <
April 7, 2003 - MPR’s Lorna Benson talks with Robert Palmquist, president of SpeechGear, about Interact, a handheld translation device created by the company. The device offers real-time oral translations in about 12 different languages. U.S. office of Naval Research is testing device, which will allow troops to communicate better with civilians and surrendering POWs on the battlefield.

April 11, 2003 - Minnesota is in the running to attract a new... highly sought after, biotech company from Cleveland, Ohio. The C-E-O of Athersys (ATH-er-sis) says the company needs up to 75 million dollars in financing to stay in Cleveland. Officials there are reluctant to promise so much money. The attempt to lure Athersys (ATH-er-sis) to Minnesota is the subject of an article in this week's edition of The Business Journal. Mark Reilly, who wrote the article, says Athersys has great potential.
