October 22, 2010 - MPR’s Chris Roberts reports on Minneapolis indie rock band STNNNG (pronounced 'Stunning'). Roberts interviews band members and a music critic about the group’s blistering sound and album “The Smoke of My Will.”
November 5, 2010 - For the next week or so, the group Minnesota Film Arts is bringing films from all over Asia to Minneapolis . The "In Search of Asia Festival" will present many kinds of movies from 12 different countries. Euan Kerr reports the festival is aimed at under-served parts of the movie-going public, and it's drawing particular interest from the Hmong community.
November 14, 2010 - Open Season, new documentary exploring the violent confrontation in Rice Lake Wisconsin which left six people dead will screen in Minneapolis today. The shootings occurred after a group of local residents accused Twin Cities resident Chai Vang of trespassing. Vang was later convicted of first degree murder and is serving a life sentence. "Open Season" co-director Lu Lippold says while many people have forgotten the incident, its implications are still very painful to the people of Rice Lake, and the Hmong-Americans across the US.

November 18, 2010 - Nina Archabal, the outgoing director of the Minnesota Historical Society joins Midday to talk about why history is important, the role of museums, and how best to convey the story of Minnesota's people and places. Archabal departs her position at end of 2010.
November 26, 2010 - A Midday re-broadcast of "The Big Time: F. Scott Fitzgerald," a staged storytelling of F. Scott Fitzgerald's vision of making it big. The original MPR-commissioned production of words and music was written by Patricia Hampl, with music direction by Dan Chouinard, and features singer Blake Hazard, who is Fitzgerald's great-granddaughter.

January 19, 2011 - MPR’s Jess Mador reports on "The Value of One Life," a photo exhibit at the Minnesota History Center that features Minnesotans who've survived serious illnesses, deadly accidents, even the Holocaust. One of the eight people featured is Koua Fong Lee. The St. Paul man spent more than 2 1/2 years in prison on a conviction of criminal vehicular homicide, after his Toyota Camry was involved in an accident that killed three people and left two others injured.
