Open Season, new documentary exploring the violent confrontation in Rice Lake Wisconsin which left six people dead will screen in Minneapolis today. The shootings occurred after a group of local residents accused Twin Cities resident Chai Vang of trespassing. Vang was later convicted of first degree murder and is serving a life sentence. "Open Season" co-director Lu Lippold says while many people have forgotten the incident, its implications are still very painful to the people of Rice Lake, and the Hmong-Americans across the US.
