November 24, 1993 - MPR’s John Rabe talks with two Native Americans on their thoughts regarding a celebration of “giving of thanks” and their concept of joining for a mass service of various religious denominations.
November 30, 1993 - MPR’s Leif Enger visits the Nay Ah Shing School, a new education center operated by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe that looks to offer a well-rounded education that respects the native culture. Enger interviews educators and students about their thoughts on the efforts.
January 31, 1994 - MPR’s Paula Schroeder interviews Native American author Louise Erdrich about her novel, The Bingo Palace. Erdrich talks of the complexity of gaming on tribal land, family, and religion.
February 9, 1994 - Leonard R. Bruguier, a Yankton Sioux and director of the Institute of American Indian Studies, University of South Dakota, talks about the importance of horses in Native American culture. The KTCI production, Stories of the Horse, is also highlighted, with segment including an audio excerpt from video documentary.
April 12, 1994 - Native American environmentalist and writer Winona LaDuke speaks at the Woman's Club of Minneapolis on the difference between indigenous and industrial ways of thinking. She also discusses feminism, environmental racism, and broken treaties.
May 24, 1994 - All Things Considered’s John Rabe interviews educator Rosemary Christensen, a founder of the National Indian Education Association, about preserving and protecting Ojibwe culture and language. Christensen sees these efforts as key to strengthening the Ojibwe family structure.

June 27, 1994 - Wisconsin author Muriel Blackdeer reads from her book, An Eagle Blessed Our Home. Blackdeer is of Norwegian heritage and married to Alvin Blackdeer, who was a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation.
