Voices of Minnesota, a long-running MPR series, highlights the many interesting voices that make up the people and history of Minnesota. It has appeared on Mid-Morning, MPR, Midday, and News Feature broadcasts in short form, and part of Midday hour programming in long form. Over the years, MPR’s Dan Olson, Gary Eichten, and numerous others, produced hundreds of fascinating interviews from the land of 10,000 Lakes.
January 1, 1996 - Hour 2 of Midmorning features Voices of Minnesota with Oscar Howard, founder of Meals on Wheels, and Lt. Colonel Donald Arnold, Salvation Army Commander for Minnesota and North Dakota on the season's donations. It also includes NPR's Susan Stamberg on New York City's 21 Club, and Odd Jobs: Dick Heibel, snow globe repair.
January 15, 1996 - Hour 2 of Midmorning, featuring Voices of Minnesota with Arvonne Fraser, a human and women's rights activist, and Marlene Kim Connor, author of "What Is Cool?: Understanding Black Manhood in America," on the roots of cool.
January 20, 1996 - Hour 2 of Midmorning, featuring Voices of Minnesota with Walter Breckenridge, an ecologist, ornithologist and artist, Jeanne Calvit and Howard Miller, founders of Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts and programs for the developmentally disabled, and Odd Jobs - piano tuner.

February 5, 1996 - Hour 2 of Midmorning featuring Voices of Minnesota with Polly Mann, a political activist and Scott Minerbrook on "Divided To The Vein," his book about growing up in a biracial family.
February 19, 1996 - Hour 2 of Midmorning featuring Voices of Minnesota with Thelma Buckner, gospel singer and Daniel Hofrenning, St. Olaf Political Science professor on presidents in their role in history call-in.
