MPR News with Kerri Miller is an hour-long morning news program that centers on various interviews and discussions on a variety of political, literary, health, and social topics.
During the years, the program has been part of the Daily Circuit broadcast, and included segments “Opinion and Commentary,” The Thread,” “Political Junkie,” “Managing Your Health,” “Friday Roundtable,” amongst others.

September 21, 2015 - MPR’s Kerri Miller interviews author Elizabeth Gilbert, who discusses the concept of creativity. Elizabeth Gilbert is the author of many books including "The Signature of All Things" and "Eat, Pray, Love," and "Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear."
November 6, 2015 - MPR’s Marianne Combs profiles a group of six Black women Minnesota writers Carolyn Holbrook, Lori Young-Williams, Andrea Jenkins, Shannon Gibney, Tish Jones, and Mary Moore Easter. They gathered at the The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis for a reading series called “More Than a Single Story.” Series was created by Carolyn Holbrook.
November 13, 2015 - MPR’s Tom Weber presents a rebroadcast of a documentary from 2014 MPR Special reporting project on climate change. It collects stories on extreme weather, warming trends, species adaptation, jet and streams.
January 22, 2016 - A profile of Robert Treuer, who died at the age of 89. Treuer was a writer, activist, and a tree farmer near Bemidji. The story of his life intersects with some of the most important themes of world and regional history in the 20th century. Program presents MPR’s Dan Olson interviewing Robert Treuer, as part of our "Voices of Minnesota" series.
