June 17, 1987 - MPR’s Bill Catlin presents a profile of Herb Carneal, long-time Twins announcer. In his 30+ plus years of broadcasting, Carneal still hopes for a chance to call a championship season.
August 31, 1987 - MPR’s Kate Moos reports that Minnesota Twins are lining up for tickets of the remaining regular season as excitement for the team has increased dramatically this year, with Twins holding a lead in division.
March 1, 1989 - MPR’s John Biewen visits Melvin McCosh’s “House of Books.” The longtime Minnesota bookseller hosts a book sale twice a year at his 42-room home, which is literally rooms full of books for shoppers to peruse.
