MPR’s Duluth reporter Chris Julin reflects on a student named Grace from a holiday season past.

Upon last day of school for thousands of Minnesota kids in December, they begin their holiday vacation. For many kids, it's a bright, happy time of year; but not for all. Chris Julin used to teach at an elementary school, and this time of year brings back memories.
