A world leader in wildlife conservation was buried today in Bloomington. Ulie Seal died of cancer last week. He was 73. Seal was chairman and founder of the Conservation Breeding Specialist Group based at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley. The group has helped save dozens of animals around the world, including the black footed ferret in the Dakotas, the scotts tree kangaroo in Papua New Guinea and merganzers in Brazil.
