Moe says many Americans are familiar with the Viking hero because he was such an influential and charismatic man.

130 years ago famed Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg began working on music for an opera about Norway's famous Viking King Olav Tryggvason, but after a falling out with the librettist, work on the opera stopped. The piece lay untouched until two years ago, when a team of Norwegians finally completed the opera as a Millennium project.
