The Minnesota Wild take on the Boston Bruins tonight in their home opener at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The Wild already have one tie and one win from weekend road games. While many fans would consider the team's innaugural season a success, the team didn't fare well in the standings and finished with the fewest goals in the N-H-L. To help put more pucks in the net, the Wild signed free agent Andrew Brunette over the summer. The former Atlanta Thrashers left wing finished last season with a career-high 59 points. Brunette says while his main objective with the Wild is to score goals, he thinks he's best at creating opportunities for his teammates.
