At the peak of America's prosperity just one or two years ago, eager venture capitalists competed for the right to fund promising start-up companies in the Twin Cities and elsewhere. But as the economy sours, entrepreneurs are finding it far more difficult to find investors. But despite the challenges of the current envirnoment, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists who gathered this week at the Minneapolis Convention Center said they're optimistic about long term prospects.
