MPR’s Perry Finelli talks with Christopher Cardozo, an American art collector and author about the photographic work of American photographer Edward Curtis. Cardozo is author of Native Nations: First North Americans as Seen by Edward Curtis.
As well as creating iconic images, Edward Curtis was also an ethnologist. Sometimes referred to as the "Shadow Catcher," Curtis traveled the United States to document and record the dwindling ways of life of various native tribes through photographs and audio recordings.
