Listen: Dick Gregory speaks about racism and discrimination
0:00 | 00

Dick Gregory speaks on racism, about waving a flag to get young people to the front line of battle and when they get wounded you can't be waving that same flag when they come back, that's a rag. You have to make this nation civilized, that means how do you treat the people of your state? When we bring in foreigners and treat them better than our Indian brothers that's not civilized. We bring Japanese and Germans to this country and give them better jobs and positions than we give women. Germans can live in neighborhood blacks can't live in. Soldiers who fight together overseas can't be buried in same cemetery together in the U.S.
