December 5, 2003 - 33 women have served in the United States Senate in it's more than 200 year history. 14 of them are in office right now. A new exhibit at the Hubert H Humphrey Institute documents the lives of those women as they negotiate a terrain traditionally ruled by men. It's called "The Changing Face of Power." November 20, 2003 - Many theaters complain their audiences are too soft. Some sleep through the shows, others give a standing ovation no matter what. One company says it has great audiences - you just need to know where to look for them. Ten Thousand Things theater company performs in Minnesota's prisons and homeless shelters. October 6, 2003 - Collecting Art. For many it's a past-time that reeks of elitism, money, and mystery. But the Weisman Art Museum is out to prove that buying your own personal masterpiece is not only fun, it's affordable This weekend it launched Art Mob, an educational program for aspiring art collectors. September 9, 2003 - The Guthrie Theater Company celebrated a new beginning on Monday evening. Hundreds of people witnessed the ceremonial groundbreaking on the site of it's new riverfront theater complex in downtown Minneapolis. The ceremony marks the end of a long uphill battle at the state legislature for funding, but the campaign for private donations continues. Minnesota Public Radio's Marianne Combs reports.

July 17, 2003 - MPR's Marianne Combs profiles painter and sculptor John Snyder, and his Circus of the Night exhibit at Weinstein Gallery in Minneapolis. The presentation features gigantic paintings reminiscent of Italian works of the 14th century. Snyder details his inspiration behind the paintings.
