October 6, 2010 - The Minnesota Twins open their postseason against the New York Yankees, a team that has been responsible for many of the Twins' woes in recent playoff appearances…and there's no expectation that the Yankees will be any less of a threat this time.
April 2, 2009 - As the Minnesota Twins study who will be on the roster when the regular season begins, one hoping to make the club is relief pitcher R.A. Dickey, who was acquired in the off-season. The Twins believe that Dickey's signature pitch, the knuckleball, will be particularly effective inside the Metrodome.
October 2, 2006 - MPR’s Jim Bikal recounts a most memorable ballgame, as the Minnesota Twins celebrated an American League Central Division championship on the last day of the regular season…along with Joe Mauer's batting championship! As the day unfolded, Twins players not only won their game, they also became fellow spectators with their fans, watching a Detroit Tigers/Kansas City Royals game play out on the Metrodome screen to determine AL Central pennant winner.

December 21, 2004 - The Minnesota Twins have reached one-year contract agreements with five players including a $5 million deal with right fielder Jacque Jones. The Twins offered arbitration to four other players, including Cy Young Award winner Johan Santana. General Manager Terry Ryan takes a few questions from MPR Morning Edition producer Jim Bickal.
December 8, 2004 - LaVelle Neal, who follows the Twins year-round for the Star Tribune, discusses the Minnesota Twins signing of ace pitcher Brad Radke to a two-year $18 million contract. The 32-year-old right hander has been a fixture in the Twins rotation since 1995. He recorded the best earned run average of his career last season.
September 24, 2003 - The Minnesota Twins clinched the Central Division title and made the MLB playoffs for second straight year. The Twins 4-1 victory over Cleveland at the Metrodome, coupled with losses by Kansas City and Chicago, clinched the division title. After the Twins game ended, fans watched the end of the other games on the Metrodome scoreboard and then celebrated the title. LaVelle Neal, who covers the Twins for the Star Tribune, was there and joins Morning Edition’s Cathy Wurzer to describe the scene.
September 4, 2003 - The Minnesota Twins find themselves in a tie for first place in the American League Central this morning after a remarkable victory at the Metrodome. The Twins beat the Anaheim Angels 6-5 on the strength of a wild play in the bottom of the ninth inning. MPR's Jim Bickal was at the game and he's in studio to recollect on memorable moment.
