April 23, 2001 - Morning Edition’s Cathy Wurzer talks with Dave Meltzer, the editor of the Wrestling Observer, provides a review of the first XFL season that has ended with the Los Angles Extreme defeating the San Francisco Demons 38 to 6 to win $1,000,000. After disappointing ratings it looks like NBC will drop the league from its schedule next year, but it may continue on UPN.
April 19, 2001 - This is the first fare increase since 1993. The hope would be to double the size of the transit system in the Twin Cities. What factors work into this situation include rising gas prices and full-time drivers versus part-time drivers. They are in a good situation to expand their system because there is a high demand for buses.
April 17, 2001 - The fate of four Saint Paul charter schools are in the hands of the Saint Paul School Board. Three of the four schools have problems with their financial statements. All four schools are sponsored by the Saint Paul School District.

April 4, 2001 - MPR’s Cathy Wurzer talks with Lucky Rosenbloom, son of longtime Saint Paul icon Tiger Jack Rosenbloom, who may have a street named after him. The St. Paul city council is expected to approve a measure that would co-name a short stretch of Dale Street "Mr. and Mrs. Tiger Jack Street."
April 3, 2001 - Lavelle Neal, who covers the Minnesota Twins for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, sees a promising season for the team as the 2001 Major League Baseball season begins. Neal says the Twins have a lot of developing ballplayers that are starting to figure out their way around the league.
