February 17, 2005 - Morning Edition’s Cathy Wurzer talks with Bob Ingrassia, a reporter with the St. Paul Pioneer Press, about allegations against Sia Lo, a senior aide to St. Paul Mayor Randy Kelly. Lo is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly demanding a bribe from a local businessman. The allegations involve city approval for a new Hmong funeral home.
December 21, 2004 - The Minnesota Twins have reached one-year contract agreements with five players including a $5 million deal with right fielder Jacque Jones. The Twins offered arbitration to four other players, including Cy Young Award winner Johan Santana. General Manager Terry Ryan takes a few questions from MPR Morning Edition producer Jim Bickal.
November 23, 2004 - Morning Edition’s Cathy Wurzer talks with Bob Kelleher about hunter shootings in Wisconsin. A probable cause hearing is expected in Hayward Wisconsin for 36-year-old Chai Vang, the St. Paul resident accused of opening fire on a party of hunters from Rice Lake, Wisconsin on November 21st, 2004. Six people are now dead and two are recovering from their wounds.
November 19, 2004 - Rolling Stone Magazine has come up with a list of the 500 Greatest Songs of all time and Hibbing's own Bob Dylan is at the top of the list with his song "Like A Rolling Stone." That song was Dylan's first top ten hit in 1965. He followed it with another big seller called "Positively 4th Street."
November 18, 2004 - MPR’s Cathy Wurzer has a conversation with Duluth writer Barton Sutter about his book "Farewell to the Starlight in Whisky." Sutter explores a wide range of topics: among them, politics, sobriety, the Minnesota wilderness, and love.

October 7, 2004 - La Velle Neal, who covers the Twins for the Star Tribune, comments on Game 2 of American League Division Series. In a crushing loss to New York Yankees in 12 innings, the Twins and Yankees are tied at one game apiece in the best of five series.
September 21, 2004 - For the first time in franchise history, the Minnesota Twins will play postseason baseball in three straight years. The Twins clinched their third straight American League Central Division crown with an 8-2 victory over the White Sox in Chicago. Twins General Manager Terry Ryan shares his thoughts and hopes for the team in the postseason.
