October 11, 2000 - The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite stock index continued its decline today, and is now down more than 20 percent for the year. Entrepreneurs and investors meeting at a conference in Minneapolis say the volatility in the markets has made venture capitalists and investors in early stage firms more choosy about which companies they'll fund.
