The MPR Archive contains a mass of wide-ranging material. To assist in searching and locating specifics, below is a brief outline of tools available in exploring material within portal:

·         TOPICS: At top of main page, a dropdown menu allows user to focus searches on a certain topic

·         CONTRIBUTORS: Located below title of story are contributor name(s) present within that story. User can view other stories that contributor is within by clicking name link

·         COLLECTIONS: Located below title of story are topic and other collection links associated to subject. One can find other related material by clicking link (ex. – Politics, Civil Rights in Minnesota)  

·         SEARCH: At top of main page, a “Search” field allows user to find a subject (Boundary Waters), date (ex: 2000-09-01), or program (Midday)

 

Some audio pages have transcription as additional reference.
