Califano’s address was on the topic of health care. Following address, Califano answered audience questions. Califano has written a new book called "Triumph and Tragedy of Lyndon Johnson: The White House Years". He is a leading advocate of health care reform. He also encourages private businesses to help develop policies to ensure access to health care. Minnesota Meeting is a non-profit corporation which hosts a wide range of public speakers. It is managed by the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
