March 21, 2003 - A Minneapolis psychologist is warning that media coverage of war can have a profound effect on children. David Walsh is president and founder of the National Institute on Media and the Family. He says that during times of crisis parents should keep close watch on their children's emotions.
March 21, 2003 - Northwest Airlines says it's cutting nearly 5000 jobs due to the war in Iraq. The Eagan based carrier says it is removing 20 planes from service and reducing capacity by about 12 percent. Minnesota Public Radio's Bill Catlin reports.
March 25, 2003 - Police arrested 67 anti-war protestors today (TUESDAY) during a protest at the Federal Building in downtown Minneapolis. Those arrested briefly blocked the entrances to the building while others cheered them on and chanted slogans nearby. This is the second civil disobedience demonstration in the Twin Cities in as many days. Arrests now total almost 100. Minnesota Public Radio's Art Hughes reports.

March 26, 2003 - The Senate Crime Prevention Committee defeated a bill today that would allow the Commissioner of Public Safety to stamp the driver's licenses of temporary immigrants with their visa expiration dates. Supporters say the bill would give public safety officials the ability to identify whether a temporary immigrant has overstayed his or her visa. The provision is a top priority of both Governor Pawlenty and House Republicans. Minnesota Public Radio's Tom Scheck reports..
