October 29, 1991 - Midmorning’s Paula Schroeder hosts MPR Special Coverage of Twins victory parade. Program includes reports from start of parade in downtown St. Paul and preparation of Minneapolis parade and celebration event at Metrodome.
November 1, 1991 - Midday’s Bob Potter talks with Kathy Heidel, naturalist at Carver Park Reserve, on how animals are dealing with the massive snowstorm. Heidel describes how she believes animals were far less surprised by blizzard than people in region, and prepared much better.
November 1, 1991 - Paul Wellstone comments on success of thwarting an energy policy in Congress that would have allowed drilling in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge.
November 4, 1991 - MPR’s Liz Hannon interviews John O’Rourke, mayor of Austin, about the impact storm system on city. While Austin only received about an inch of snow, they also received a couple inches of ice, damaging trees and powerlines. Much of the town was left without power in dropping temperatures.
November 6, 1991 - MPR’s Gary Eichten interviews naturalist about how animals are adapting to to massive snowstorm. The different experiences of small birds, squirrels, pheasants, and deer are detailed. Not surprisingly, hibernators are the big winners.
November 25, 1991 - MPR’s Mark Heistad interviews author David Backes about his book “Canoe Country: An Embattled Wilderness.” The two talk about the history of the Boundary Waters and the ongoing debate about the use and protections of land and water in area.

February 11, 1992 - A discussion on the cost benefits of a compact fluorescent bulbs and concerns of Northern States Power (NSP) program to sell bulbs.
February 17, 1992 - MPR’s Stephen Smith presents “A Place for the Wolf,” an examination of the struggles between the wolf population and humans. Smith interviews wildlife experts, farmers, federal officials, and wolf advocates.
