August 10, 1995 - Robert Rubin, U.S. Treasury Secretary, speaking at Minnesota Meeting. Rubin’s address was titled, “The Debt and the Economy: Tough Choices for America's Future.” Following speech, Rubin answered audience questions. Minnesota Meeting is a non-profit corporation which hosts a wide range of public speakers. It is managed by the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
August 11, 1995 - MPR’s Jon Gordon profiles retired star Minnesota Twins first baseman Kent Hrbek, who’s #14 is being retired by the team. Hrbek ended his career with 293 homeruns, second only to Harmon Killebrew for a Twins player. Hrbek is seen by some as one of the best position players at first base.
August 16, 1995 - MPR’s Paul Schroeder interviews authors Rip Rapson and Kevin Proescholdt about their book “Troubled Waters: The Fight for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.” Rapson and Proescholdt, both environmentalists, detail the historical controversies of logging, mining, and recreation of the Boundary Waters.

September 12, 1995 - MPR’s Bill Wareham reports on Minnesota Twins push for changes with stadium commission at a pro sports task force. The team organization says they need better revenue…and a possibly new venue.
September 19, 1995 - Pam Fine, news leader of the Minneapolis Star Tribune; and Ken Doctor, managing editor of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, discuss present and future of newspapers, as the competition of TV and internet evolves. Fine and Doctor also answer listener questions.
October 12, 1995 - Rosabeth Moss Kanter, author and professor at the Harvard Business School, speaking at a forum for local business leaders, sponsored by the Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce the Ceridian Corporation. Kanter’s address was on the topic “World Class: Thriving Locally in the Global Economy.” Kanter has written numerous books, including "World Class: Thriving Locally in a Global Economy."

October 19, 1995 - MPR’s Leif Enger reports on how the timber industry in Becker County is dealing with the aftermath of an immense blowdown from windstorms that spanned from July 9th to 14th. The tree loss and change to forest landscape was massive.
