December 8, 2000 - Curtis A. pulled together musicians to sing Lennon songs on the 7th Street exit the day Lennon was shot. He will have another show tonight, 20 years after that shot. Shakespeare's "Cymbeline" is performed Ten Thousand Things Theater Company to people who don't usually see productions, such as prisoners. Surf-cracker is a spin of Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" at the Loring Playhouse.

In a region brimming over with choral groups, choirs, chorales and oratorial societies, the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus has been a relatively well-kept secret, but the group is determined to raise its profile as it celebrates a 20-year anniversary.

The Minneapolis-based Margolis Brown Theater Company has chosen the latter in its new production American Safari.

December 15, 2000 - Money for park projects in Minneapolis won out over some city councilmembers' concerns about unmet infrastructure needs as the council narrowly approved the city's one billion dollar budget for 2001 last (thurs) night. Minnesota Public Radio's Art Hughes reports.
