December 5, 1981 - Midday’s Bob Potter talks with virtuoso violinist Pinchas Zukerman about his role as The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra musical director and conductor. Zukerman discusses arts funding, censoring of certain composers, orchestra alignment, and recording. He also answers listener questions. Program includes music elements.

May 17, 1982 - Nancy Fushan interviews Richard Killmer, oboist at The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, who is leaving the Orchestra to teach at the Eastern School in New York. Killmer discusses teaching, talent of students, and “voice” of oboe.
May 21, 1987 - MPR’s Beth Friend looks at the seven-year tenure of Pinchas Zukerman, conductor of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. Friend interviews members of SPCO about the genius, influential, and sometimes difficult orchestra leader.
May 29, 1996 - MPR’s Eric Friesen speaks with The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Conductor Hugh Wolff from the city of Sendai shortly after the second concert of a tour in Japan. The trip is being seen as an important opportunity to develop a Japanese following for the SPCO. Wolff says Japanese audiences have given the SPCO a warm welcome.
March 18, 1998 - MPR’s Dan Olson takes a look at the timpani, sometimes called the kettle drum, as it takes the spotlight at The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. Earl Yowell, the chamber orchestra's principal timpanist, plays the seldom performed Johann Carl Fischer’s Timpani Concerto.
May 18, 1998 - In a surprise announcement, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra appointed a new acting concertmaster. The selection of the violinist to lead the musicians in any orchestra is a complex, mysterious, process. Insiders expected the SPCO selection committee to take a year to choose a successor to Romauld Tecco, but they found someone they really wanted…Denver-based Steven Copes playing and they hired him on the spot.
October 23, 2000 - MPR’s Chris Roberts reports on the announcement of Andreas Delfs as the new Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra music director. Delfs replaces the recently departed Hugh Wolff.
