A curation of moments from Peabody Award-winning weekly classical music radio series Saint Paul Sunday. On each program, host Bill McGlaughlin invited a virtuoso soloist or ensemble into the studio to discuss and perform music.
In March of 1981, Saint Paul Sunday aired its first broadcast, an all-Bach program featuring the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Dale Warland Singers. The series ran until 2007 and was hosted by McGlaughlin for its entire run.
March 22, 1981 - This is the premiere broadcast of Saint Paul Sunday Morning, a new series exploring the unique world of chamber music. This first program is a musical celebration in honor of Johann Sebastian Bach's birthday. Members of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra with the Dale Warland Chamber Singers join Host Bill McGlaughlin in the Studio M for lively conversation and music-making in a relaxed and informal studio setting.
April 19, 1981 - On this special Easter program, Layton "Skip" James and Philip Brunelle meet with Saint Paul Sunday Morning’s Bill McGlaughlin in the St. Paul Cathedral. Program includes commentary by host and interview segments. Organ music is highlighted.
May 17, 1981 - Dale Warland Chamber Singers & Stephen Paulus visit Saint Paul Sunday Morning in the studio. Program includes commentary by host Bill McGlaughlin and interview segments. There is a discussion on professional choirs.
May 31, 1981 - Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and Layton "Skip" James visit Saint Paul Sunday Morning in the studio. Program includes commentary by host Bill McGlaughlin and interview segments where Italian Renaissance and Baroque styles are discussed.
June 7, 1981 - Calliope, a Renaissance band, visit Saint Paul Sunday Morning in the studio. Program includes commentary by host Bill McGlaughlin, instrument presentations, and interview segments.
June 21, 1981 - Soprano Lucy Shelton visits Saint Paul Sunday Morning in the studio. Program includes commentary by host Bill McGlaughlin and interview segments. Members of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra accompanying Shelton are Timothy Paradise, clarinet; and Layton James, piano/harpsichord.

July 19, 1981 - New World String Quartet visit Saint Paul Sunday Morning in the studio. Program includes commentary by host Bill McGlaughlin and interview segments. The members of quartet discuss communication within the group and how they rehearse.
November 8, 1981 - Ward Swingle and The Swingle Singers visit Saint Paul Sunday Morning in the studio. Program includes commentary by host Bill McGlaughlin and interview segments.
December 20, 1981 - Saint Paul Sunday Morning presents a Christmas program with commentary by host Bill McGlaughlin and performances by the Dale Warland Chamber Singers, members of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra string section, and Phillip Brunelle.
