November 29, 1990 - Rabbi Harold Kushner, author and theologian, speaking at Temple Israel in Minneapolis, sponsored by the Center for Jewish Christian Learning of the University of St. Thomas. Kushner’s address was on the topic "Who Needs God?" Kushner’s books include “Who Needs God?” and “When Bad Things Happen to Good People”, amongst others.
November 29, 1990 - Mainstreet Radio’s John Biewen looks at the changes taking place in Minnesota law enforcement after the Minnesota legislature created the Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST), which in part requires college degree for police officers…including the local sheriff. The state is the first in the country to require two-year degree for beginning peace officers.

November 30, 1990 - A Midday broadcast of Alan Greenspan, chairman of the Federal Reserve System, speaking at Minnesota Meeting. Greenspan’s address was on the topic "Economic Implications of the Mideast Crisis". After speech, Greenspan answered audience questions.
