June 8, 1974 - Sub-committee questionaire sent to hospitals is getting no response and state that they are not in a position to give out information on the costs of healthcare.
June 10, 1974 - MPR’s Greg Barron interviews a Minnesota farmer about weather effects on crops. Although some areas of Minnesota have responded well to wet weather, spring planting might be delayed because of the wet weather. Wheat, barley, oat and flax are the main crops effected by the weather.

July 10, 1974 - MPR’s Sam Ford reports on the battle over proposed ordinance being reviewed by St. Paul City Council. The ordinance (commonly referred to as the “Gay Rights” ordinance) would ban discrimination because of affectional or sexual preference. Ford highlights two differing views towards ordinance…the opposition of St. Paul Firefighters Local 21 and support from the Minnesota Committee for Gay Rights.
July 11, 1974 - MPR’s Connie Goldman has a conversation with Ted Hall about small town weekly, “The Rainy Lake Chronicle.” Hall reflects on his career in journalism, writing, and publishing.
