March 8, 2007 - MPR’s Marriane Combs takes a look at the early design drafts for the Minnesota Twins new ballpark. Combs highlights efforts to make venue different from a stadium…and neighborhood friendly.
April 2, 2007 - It’s Opening Day for the Minnesota Twins, but the occasion will be tinged with sadness due to the death of Herb Carneal, longtime Twins radio announcer. Carneal, who called Twins games for 45 seasons, died of congestive heart failure at 83. His passing is a great loss for fans of Twins baseball. MPR’s Jess Mador has this remembrance.
April 3, 2007 - MPR’s Brandt Willimas reports on the Minnesota Twins home opener against the Baltimore Orioles, in which the Twins won 7-4. Monday night at the Metrodome was also about honoring the memory of long-time radio announcer Herb Carneal, who died the day prior.

May 3, 2007 - Morning Edition’s Cathy Wurzer gets an introduction to the music of local rapper Brother Ali from The Current’s Bill DeVille, Deville comments on the Brother Ali’s second album, The Undisputed Truth.
May 3, 2007 - MPR’s Toni Randolph reports on Graves Desecration Reconciliation Working Group, a St. Paul group that is working with U.S. diplomatic officials in Thailand to resolve an issue that has angered members of Minnesota's Hmong community. They're trying to figure out what to do with the disinterred remains of some of their relatives once buried near a Buddhist temple in Thailand.
May 30, 2007 - Nick Mancini, founder of St. Paul institution Mancini's Char House and Vegas Lounge, passed away at the age of 80. Over the years, his steaks and hospitality would make the restaurant a popular destination for politicians, athletes, and many loyal customers…one of whom is MPR's own Gary Eichten, who remembers how Mancini had a knack for keeping his customers happy.
