Art is often about doing something new and different, but painter and sculptor John Snyder finds his inspiration firmly rooted in the past. Snyder's latest show, now on view at the Weinstein Gallery in Minneapolis, features gigantic paintings reminiscent of Italian works of the 14th century. Minnesota Public Radio's Marianne Combs went to take a look and has this report:
