The airline reports moderate seconnd quarter earnings, better than expected

Eagan-based Northwest Airlines says it had a modest profit in June, and expects to repeat that in July and August. The nation's fourth largest airline also said its loss for the second quarter as a whole grew nearly 70 percent to 93 million dollars. But that was much lower than Wall Street analysts expected. Minnesota Public Radio's Bill Catlin reports.
