State budget shortfall is growing

State finance officials say it appears Minnesota wages have fallen for the first time in at least 40 years. The figures are part of a forecast released yesterday (Monday) projecting the state's budget shortfall will reach nearly $2 point 3 billion dollars. That's an increase of 17 percent compared to the forecast issued in early December. Minnesota Public Radio's Bill Catlin reports.
