With the state and US economies in decline, initial claims for jobless benefits in Minnesota rose last year by a dramatic 50 percent to nearly 312 thousand. But the end of the year saw indications the state's job market may be nearing bottom. Minnesota Public Radio's Bill Catlin reports.
